Why MEP National Network: Food Manufacturing Services
In cooperation with our partners, we are focusing on the key elements that make members of the America’s food production community grow profitably.
A vital and growing aspect for success in the food and beverage industry is regulatory knowledge and compliance. The revamp of the FDA’s food law with the passing of FSMA is a critical issue for manufacturers in regards to ensuring compliance both internally and within their entire supply chain to the applicable portions of the Act. On top of this, manufacturers must continue to maintain and continuously improve their FSQMS with respects to their secondary (customers, suppliers) and tertiary (AIB, GFSI) audit bodies’ requirements. Not to mention other Federal and Local regulations that may be applicable to each industry. All of these requirements together must be understood, programs developed, implemented successfully, and continuously reviewed by manufacturers to ensure continued compliance, success, and growth in their industry.
The MEP National Network is here for your organization both logistically and culturally to educate, prepare, and stand with you in the face of the continuously changing regulatory landscape to meet your company’s specific needs and requirements. At MEP Centers, qualified and certified instructors are available locally to educate clientele in required areas, such as current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) Principles, Food Safety Plan Development, GFSI Audit Schemes, and multiple other critical food safety programs. In addition, MEP Centers are prepared to offer assistance with identifying root causes and follow up with corrective and preventive actions if non-compliances areas are identified.
